Reduce Stress – Promote Resilience

Those who can face crises or constant stress (professional and/or private) with confidence have resilience. This ability to deal with challenges and strokes of fate, known in psychology as resilience, is not innate but can be trained and is an important prerequisite for health-preserving stress management.

In our interactive lecture, you will learn how you can feel physically and mentally well, remain productive and recover quickly despite constantly high demands. Using scientifically based resilience models, you will be taught proven techniques for dealing with crises and stressful life situations. Under professional guidance, you will be familiarized with various relaxation methods and can also try them out in practice during the lecture.

The following contents will be addressed, among others:

  • The meaning, types and consequences of stress
  • Characteristics and keys of resilience
  • Strategies for maintaining and improving resilience
  • Successful implementation of time management, emotion regulation, health-related goals and relaxation techniques
